An Easier Way to Getting A College Education Online

Filed under: Education @ 11:23 pm

Many people in today’s society do not have the time they want in order to attend a college or university in order to further their education. So, there is an easier way to get a college degree and that is by taking online courses. Online courses are offered in a wide range of subjects from accounting to engineering. These courses are deemed to be the easier way to getting a college degree by doing it online. A college education online will give you the same degree level that you would get if you attended a traditional university or college.

The newest way to get a degree is attending the University of Phoenix online. The University of Phoenix online offers their students a list of courses, a personal admissions counselor, and classes that are fit around your already hectic schedule and lifestyle. With almost sixty online courses and approximately thirteen campuses spread throughout the country, the University of Phoenix is the leading site for getting a college education online. They offer everything from a Bachelor’s degree to a Master’s degree and even offer single classes instead of an entire degree’s worth. They also offer financial assistance for those who are not able to afford an online education. The financial assistance plans that they offer range from helping out a little bit, to making the payments affordable for those that have families and large monthly bills.

There are other web sites that offer the ability to obtain an education degree online. Most sites are affiliated with accredited universities and colleges. However, these sites require that you go to the university or college in order to take the exams issued regularly, as well as the mid-terms and final exams. The internet sites that are linked to accredited universities tend not to offer an affordable education degree online. Sometimes their courses can cost just as much as if you were to attend the classes in person. Be sure to check out as many sites as possible when deciding to get your education degree online and definitely make sure to check out the University of Phoenix online or call one of their toll free numbers. This will ensure an easier way to getting a college degree online.

IT Sales: It’s about Relationships and Benefits

Filed under: Sellers Market @ 2:20 pm

IT Sales aren’t automatic–you have to put in the time and effort to make the sale. In this article you will learn that showing your clients the benefit of your services and developing a relationship with them will help your IT sales.

What Benefit Can You Give Them?

If your prospect has an IT problem you can’t solve, then to get IT sales you need to focus more on the problems that you know you can solve and the things that you can do that are really going to cause them to say, “Wow, that sounds really good!”

Know Your Pitch for IT Sales

If you can talk about things that you’ve done in the past with other customers, and the benefits that your clients have achieved from the type of solutions that you’ve recommended, designed, set up, supported and serviced for them, the more your pitch will resonate with them.

Let the Relationship Evolve

Sometimes it takes a couple weeks or months to be able to get a commitment from your prospect. Be patient and persistent. Send email, faxes, postcards, and make phone calls.

Don’t be obnoxious. You don’t want to get to the point that you’re calling them every day, but if they told you it’s something they want to do over the next couple of months, it’s perfectly appropriate for you to call them once or twice a month just to see where they are.

Answer Any Additional Questions

See if they had any other questions or issues that have come up. Ask if they need anything revised in the initial quote or bid that you sent them. The key thing to remember is, if they’re saying great idea, I’ll get back to you, that’s not the end of this discussion. The only way it’s the end of the discussion is if you let it be.

You haven’t given them a good enough reason that they need to do it today, or no matter what you say to them, they’re not going to agree to IT sales today. You need to be able to get to the bottom of that by asking the basic questions like:

o How important is this?
o When do you want to get started?
o Is there a sense of urgency to this?
o Where are you in the decision process?
o Where are you in the research process?
o Is this a good time of year for this kind of project?
o Have you budgeted for it yet?

There’s a lot of different ways that you can ask those questions. For IT sales, don’t let “later” turn into “no” by inaction on your part!

“The Final Method to Fast Cash”

by Stuart Reid

There are literally hundreds of ways to make money online today.
Everything from affiliate programs, ad revenue, reseller deals
and beyond.

The trouble is, they all take time, money and effort to get
started!

All is not lost - there still exists one proven strategy that
works in a very short time period, costs hardly anything, and
can net you a healthy profit.

It’s eBay.

Don’t switch off just yet! The problem with eBay is that it’s
been “done to death”. It’s an unfortunate fact that many newbies
- the very people who NEED this site - have been blinded by the
sheer amount of spam and even legitimate offers they receive.

Ebay is billed as an “International Community Of Buyers And
Sellers” and “The Worlds Biggest Marketplace” - nice taglines,
that just happen to be true.

It’s so big that WHATEVER you have to sell, SOMEONE wants to buy.

I’m serious. Just take a look.

Now… I don’t regard eBay as the route to “big” riches
(although some powersellers certainly do earn a nice income).
Rather, I see it as a way for a newbie to get some cash behind
them to enter into the really profitable companies. To get their
website up and running. To get their promotional activities
under way.

Spend just two or three weeks on eBay and you can easily make a
couple of hundred (or even thousand) bucks to give you a great
start in your marketing efforts.

Here’s why I believe this is true:

1. Ebay is CHEAP. It’s not cheap as in tacky, it’s cheap as in
economical. You pay nothing up front, as you’re invoiced monthly
- and buy then you’ve already sold what you’re selling.

2. It’s EASY. Yep. You need no lists, websites, or any of that
stuff. Just sign up for a sellers account, and start listing
your goods!

3. You can profit QUICKLY. Auctions last 1, 3, 5 or 7 Days. You
can also place “Buy It Now” buttons so you can sell as soon as
someone wants to buy!

The basics of eBay are very easy to master. First you need
something to sell. I’m not going to discuss the murky world of
selling sites, services, tools and that kind of thing. Nor am I
going to discuss how you can use “drop shippers” to sell items
at profit without even buying and shipping them yourself (very
profitable).

I’m discussing selling whatever you have around the house!
Search the Cellar, Attic, Garage, every nook, cranny and
cupboard you have. Pull out EVERYTHING you don’t need or use.
Don’t be a “hoarder” - see it as an opportunity to de-clutter
your life and a way to get cash to re-start your future.

Got it all in front of you? Great!

Now search eBay for each item you have, or comparable items.
Make a note of their prices so you have a guide. If your items
are “worthless” - i.e. they’re only selling for a buck or two,
then don’t bother (unless you have a lot of them). If you’ve got
any “hot” items, put them to one side.

Before you list you may find a Digital Camera handy. If you
don’t have one don’t worry, but you can buy them now for around
$40 and they DO make a hell of a difference to your listings.

List all your normal stuff. Don’t spend too much on featured
listings, such as Bold, Gallery etc for the cheaper items. And
don’t worry about postage costs - the buyer pays these! Make
sure you list them at a good time, i.e. around 7-9 pm, and
preferably on a Sunday Evening. This means a 7 day Auction will
END at 7-9pm on a Sunday Evening - more people surfing :-)
Now list your HOT items. If you have any collectibles, such as
coins, toys, books etc, or you have rare items, NOW’s the time
to splash out on featured listings. It depends on how much you
expect the item to sell for.

For any item you can place a Buy It Now option. Only do this if
the item is pretty common and sells well, or you want to “fake”
the value. For example, if a Buy It Now price is $80 and the
winner ends up bidding $50 he *thinks* he has a bargain.

After everything is listed keep an eye on your items in your “My
Ebay” page. It shows you everything. And be sure to answer
questions from interested buyers promptly.

After your 7 days are up collect the payments and ship the
items. PayPal is the easiest way to accept payments, and eBay
owns PayPal so it’s all automated. You can withdraw the funds
from PayPal to your Bank Account directly.

Do this for two or three weeks then you have some cash behind
you to get started on your main business!

P.S. If you want to take Ebay further as a business in it’s own
right, for example using Drop Shippers, scouring Car Boot
Markets and Flea Markets, or selling Information Services (all
profitable) then you need “Ultimate Ebay”. If you want to learn
all the insider tricks and secrets to get your auctions selling
quicker and higher than ever before, also refer to “Ultimate
Ebay” - since it contains 40 of the best Books, Reports and
Manuals about Ebay ever gathered!
